A/C hose lengths

Hi all
Long time watcher, first time poster. Great forum that has supported my Porsche habit for years.

I need a bit of help. I need to make up some new AC hoses for my 3.2 Carrera. I would love to buy some of those available in the US, but with postage down to me in Australia, it ends up being very expensive. In addition, I have made up hoses for other cars in the past, so it really isn't an issue for me. i understand that not only do I need the right barrier hose and fittings, but I need to clock them correctly, so all good so far.

I am up against a tight deadline and do not have time to remove the hoses, measure them and then buy the right amount of hose. I could guess at how much I need, but if anybody can share the amount of each type of hose I need, it would help me a lot. Otherwise I need to allow for a fair amount of waste, which I hate on both cost and sustainability grounds.

I understand that I need to make up one extra hose compared with the LHD cars and I can estimate that, so just the standard lhd amounts would be fine.

Many thanks

Simon

For our '86, I bought 45 feet of various sizes total.
With the Pro Cooler, I did have a bit of the #8 left over.

Cheers,

Gerry

Thanks. Do you remember how much of each? I am most interested the no. 8 and No. 10 because they are the long ones.

Here is the shop that provided the hoses.

They are good people.

Send George an email & ask him about my order.

I'll try to find the invoice.

Cheers,

Gerry

Thanks. Because i am in Australia and the cost of shipping, I need to order locally, so any help with the actual lengths would be great.
Regards
Simon
