oil line replacement
I am thinking of changing my oil lines that have been crushed at some point in the past. There are several options and was wondering if anyone has experience and advice.
OEM? Griffth? Elephant? Other?

can you post photos of the kinks? I have a way to fix the kinks with compressed air and a propane torch.

I'm happy with Elephant finned lines. I could have tried to fix my crushed original lines but opted for the finned lines for better cooling because I live in Phoenix. The quality and fit was great.

Does anyone have experience replacing a dented oil line with a 1500psi rubber hydraulic line ?

![]() ![]() The Oil system is relatively "Low Pressure" at under 100 psi. No need for Hi-Pressure Hydraulic Hose that require special fittings that are double the cost or more. Plus Hydraulic hose insulates the oil running through it, while the factory Hardlines and Elephant Finned Lines radiates the heat. Hydraulic Hose would be a total mistake in my opinion. Len ![]() |
