Beautiful! Love the trim ring on the hood I have never seen that done before. Does someone sell them or was it custom made for the build?

I had a design in mind and gave it to a friend of mine who does machining and metal work for cars. He builds custom headers, exhaust, roll bars, roll cages, etc. Also did the rear window straps with the integrated R hinges.

Near completion. Just a few details remain. Should have it wrapped up in a few weeks. Think of adding the PORSCHE side script in gloss black. Already purchased these - just will add these as a final touch.

My take on a mix of a modern "R" style drill. 1/4" x 1/4" stainless steel mesh with a 1/4" thick drilled acrylic cover. Mounted using stainless steel standoffs. This enables you to removed the acrylic cover for cleaning without having to remove the entire assembly.

The previous owners had the MSD ignition assembly mounted on the rear fire wall. I took the assembly and then designed and fab'd a cover for it with a removable L-shaped face plate. Added the aluminum horizontal bars to tie in with the factory pieces on the dash.

I am in the process of installing a small aluminum strip to fill in the gap below the kill switches and the fire suppression pull. Painting them to match the larger plate - then of to the laser vendor to have them "engraved" for switch descriptions. The laser will burn thru the paint and leave the aluminum behind. This particular vendor that I use can not cut metal - but it will burn it to etch a design. I am sure the end product will be good. I will post as soon as they are completed
