Oil Return Tubes- type, supplier, manufacturer identification

Hello,

I am seeking the correct o-rings for my oil return tubes. My dilemma is that I have not found ANY that look like mine (with springs), so I can't determine the EXACT o-rings to use. I have consulted some Porsche professionals here in Colorado, but they are unable to determine the manufacturer of these tubes, nor are they able to identify the proper o-rings (these are thicker than the ones used by Porsche). These are very sturdy tubes and I like the use of a spring rather than a c-clip, so I prefer to keep these tubes rather than replace them.

These were installed in my car by a previous owner in Dallas, Texas in December 1988. No manufacturer of the parts was identified in the records.

1) Who made these and where can I get replacement o-rings in the correct sizes?

2) I would like this thread to be a forum "catalog" of the different types of oil return tubes to better help fellow owners who might be facing my situation.

What type or oil return tubes do YOU have? (Please post a pic, and include manufacturer/supplier info).

I have the same tubes. The two rings at the head and the crank case seem to measure the same as the stock ones that came in the car originally (999.707.112.40) however, the little center one, which I measured to be 25mmx3.5mm is what I'm now looking for. For some reason its hard to find the actual size in Porsche parts online catalogs, so I may just give these a try I found on McMaster Carr:

Toss the things and get some decent Laso ones.

If you have the cam towers off, I would not use collapsible oil return tubes.....I would use collapsible oil return tubes only if I had no other choice.
