OK, I knew it was a nice car, but....

Last Saturday, there was a Maverick Region "Mavs & Mocha) event at Zim's. Lot of really, really nice cars there to admire. I arrived a bit early and grabbed a great parking place.

About an hour into the thing, I noticed this guy 'bowing down' to my car. I thought it was an appropriate tribute!

Now, my friends say that he's just taking a photo... but I'm not buying it. He's gotta be bowing down!

This is the dumbest post I ever made... sorry!

Rob

Hey Rob,
Cool pic and I noticed you have your PCA badge next to your license plate.
I have a tea tray spoiler on my car and did not want to attach my PCA grill badge to the top of it (no one would see it).

Do you mind showing or telling me how you attached yours?

Thanks.

Not dumb at all. Some tuners made a video about our local cars and coffee, my car has some cool moments in their video including some admirers! It's just fun to see other people take interest in your hobby. Best part was this little girl snapping a photo of my drilled out handles. :-)

Here's the video if you're extremely bored. 1:14-1:20 is my car

Are those the original Fuchs? I also have a black M491, but my wheels don't pop like those.

Yes, they are the original. They were refinished by Al Reed a few years ago in his "RSR" (as I recall) finish. They really look nice. Now, I'd love to have a set of open titanium lug nuts to set the things off!
