'74 oil temp gauge
I'm looking at the wiring to the oil temp / pressure gauge on the dash.
I have green wire that was not connected. The connections looking at the gauge from the drivers seat with gauge in dash. Starting from the right at the pressure gauge. green/red brown (at bottom middle blade) red/black (hot wire) then the temp gauge red/black (hot wire) no wire to the top middle blade green/black The middle blade on both sides is the ground (brown wire) but only one is connected. I assume they both ground to the gauge body so only one is needed? Should the green wire that is loose in the dash be connected? |

The 1973.5 Wiring Diagram should be the same:

Green is a Spare wire unless you have a sportomatic transmission.
