Would these wheels fit an SC
Quick question, I've never been good with wheel specs and fitment and I've come across a good deal on Kinesis wheels. Just need to know if the following would fit a stock body SC.
17x8 ET 33 5x130 17x8.5 ET 24 5x130 |

17x8 ET 33 might be tight up front on an SC. 7.5ET 35 is what the linea corse are up front, so your wheel in question outer lip will be 8.3mm outboard of those. Do you run camber, have you lips rolled/trimmed? What size tire? Looks like you need at least a 215 for an 8".
FWIW, there's room in the wells, I run 255s on a 9" up front on my narrow body, but you may have issues if you're not willing to set up for them. Hopefully Bill V will chime in.

Car is modestly lowered but otherwise stock. Still on torsion bars (slightly stiffer than the 930) forgot the thickness, not sure that even matters.
No camber, but I wouldn't mind rolling the fenders if needed. |

2 concerns 1) the front back space is a tad bigger than I'd like to see, it will probably be ok just closer to the strut than usual 2) I'd like to see the rear f/s a bit higher, the 245/45 would be ~4.21" the kinesis w/ 255/40 is 4.06" ![]()

- Can you please explain your concern with the rear, just not sure what you're referring to with "f/s" |

Also, I saw that you mentioned 7&9 Fuchs as a comparison. Aren't those 930 spec wheels? I have an SC.

f/s is front space. 7et 23.3 and 9et 15 are known good fits for SC flares, so that's what his pasted chart compares your potential Kinesis wheels to.
Bill, are you sure the cell is right for the front tire to fender clearance? The wheel clearance to fender cell looks correct (6.2mm) but with 20mm more tire on top of that, the fender clearance should be something like 16mm closer to fender, no? EDIT: Nevermind, I think you have them swapped. I think it should be 16mm closer to the fender lip and 3mm more clearance to the strut (labeled as "wheel well.")

f/s is frontspace - how far it sticks out b/s is back space - how fat it sticks in I include F/f & b/s specs wheel nominal tire installed tire estimate, the wheel stretches the tire to a greater or lesser extent depending on the wheel width wrt the tire spec, the stretch is mainly seen in the s/w(section width) and much less so in tire OD, treadwidth(t/w) is unaffected f/s for a 245/45 on a 9EYT15 is ~4.2" probably a tad more but not much, this fills the wheel well w/o interfering w/ any thing, max that I have use for rear f/s is ~4.5" but this requires a ride height that I don't care much for, I have settled on 255/40 on 9.5 w/ f/s of ~4.45", this around the max f/s that allows for a nice low ride height Here's my car last alignment front tire f/s is ~3.57" rear tire f/s is ~4.45" ![]()

Well, I'm optimistic that I can make them fit. I've agreed to pick them up in a few hours. They are Kinesis K57s, got the set of 4 for 1500.
- How much are factory Fuchs going for these days? They're good condition 16s, should I be able to get around 1500 for them? |

I had front change section mislabeled, I must have copied from the rear section when editing something the data cells to the right are wheel which isn't usually all the important installed tire which is the one to pay attention to now to your point, the tire is wider but the change in wheel ET moves the wheel inboard so even though the wheel and tire are wider the ET counters that.
