Correct deco strip for 1971 911T Targa?
Hello
I am in the process of restoring a black (originally Viper Green) 1971 911T Targa and see from pictures on the web that there are two types of deco strips being used on the sills under the doors. Most older cars have a thin strip, while mid-70ies cars have a thicker strip. For 1971 I have seen both being used. Mine came without, but I think it fits the car quite well. Where there differences in T, E and S-models, or was it in 1971 just pick which one you like? Best regards from snowy Oslo! Morini |

the T was the thin strip that did not full connect each Front and Rear Wheel well.
If the T was ordered with S trim package (and many were) then it will get the wider trim that connects the wheel wells. It would also have gold lettering on the decklid.
