As a way of procrastinating cleaning up the glue residue on my 66 after pulling the moth infested carpet, I decided to relocate my amp and subwoofer. While I was at it I cleaned up the wiring (again) because it still sounded off. Moved the subs input to the front speaker out. Labeled everything to make this easier next time i fool with it.

I also replace the sunroof hinge that was broken and the 2 clips and felts. Parts from pelican. Easy peasy. The hardest part was putting the felt on correctly. Hard to get it to stick.

FYI you can hook an 8 pin DIN to the blaupunkt Reno to provide preamp output to a powered subwoofer like the under seat kenwood. The 8 pin din has rca outputs which can then be used to provide signal to the sub. I’m trying this instead of my current set up to see if the sub will sound cleaner and lose some of the engine interference. Will let you know
Edit
It works but sounds the same

3d printing the part has begun… can’t wait to see how it turns out. Thanks to the pelicans for helping me out and to those who offered to help and supply the parts to me. Julian and synchro Joe, You guys are why I keep posting my exploits

And a super big thank you to FREDzred who successfully drafted the file from my measurements.

It is a nla clip that attaches the rear center reflector to the bumper. Mine cracked and I didn’t want to buy a 900.00 reflector for this one clip. Fred z red drafted it from my measurements.

Yes. The plate is French-
The bracket is awful but i had to dream something up to clear the bumperettes- any thoughts on how to defunk the bracket?
Thanks

Replace the bulky American bumper pads with the narrow Euro version. Then the plate will fit with a standard bracket.

Good idea. Thanks!
Ok gents- the stickers are designed. They are 3”” and I will put them on a clear background so that they will go on the outside of your window. Let me know what you think and if you want one, email me your name and address and I will send it to you as a thank you for all of your support.
