Tachometer on 1982 3.0 SC to coil instead of dizzy

Hello,

I'm considering to change my dizzy to a 123ignition variant, because the vacuumbox is broken and EOL. The consequence is that I need to eliminate the CDI box and hook up my tacho to the coil. I don't know what signal levels the tacho expects and what the coil is generating (I was told that it needs to be GND levelled).
I'm not sure if the tach-adapt box can support this. And even if so, probably not available here in Europe. I have a background in electronics, so if i'd had the specs of the tach and the coil, I would be able to make something myself.
THe car is a 1982 3.0 SC Targa (US version)

Regards
Bas

They don't make a 123 for an sc. i know on some msd installs you can plug in tach and it will work with no mods.

Partsklassic dot com may have the parts you need to repair your distributor.
Email them.
Or post a WTB (want to buy) in the parts classifieds. I'm sure someone has a vacuum pod from a worn distributor kicking around.
