				Spark Plug connector

			Dear Friends,

I have this 3.6 from a 1990 964 and the spark Plug connector on cylinder #1 exhaust side is damaged. This cable is kindda expensive around U$120,00, but I notice that the spark plug connector itself is cheap around U$20,00 Question is: It´s possible to change only the connector on this cable? I´m asking this because I was looking the cable closeli the other day and did not find a way to disassemble the connector from the cable the last picture is just the way the connector is sold Is there maybe some trick or a way to do it? thanks for the help

Can't you simply buy a new connector and 1mt of magnecor plug wire?

Anyway you can re weld ii if it is broken and reinsolate with a piece of good shrinkable insulator... Just measure, first cable impedence, and check after welding... It must be the same. |

The copper piece in your pic is threaded and unscrews from the plug connector.
