How does the screw cover mount? Is it just glued on? It has an indentation for the horn button, but that's it.

I would think the horn button would hold it in place when the button is snapped into place. (button has tabs that locks it into place when inserted in hub.)

Thanks for the help. It's a loose fit in the wheel, it must snap into the hub behind the wheel. I will try it tonight.

I have the same wheel. The beauty ring was always shifting around on my wheel, the horn button tabs weren't strong enough for a very snug fit, so I never ran it. Not sure if it was an idiosyncrasy of my parts, or that's just how they are.

I have a cheapo knockoff Porsche crest horn button and it holds that ring in tight on mine.

My Jwest offset does not have lip that the horn slides into. My only choice is to either remove the offset ring or add a Momo spacer with the lip. For now I just added the external horn ring.

I installed one in a friend's car and the beauty ring was loose, too. I didn't like the loose fit, but he was okay with it.

I ordered a retaining ring for the horn. It was less than $10.00. I will install the beauty ring when it comes in.
