i will be on a business trip in january ,that will bring me to las vegas, los angeles and the san francisco area. are there (besides wevo, pelican parts, partsheaven, walker) any other nice spots/meetings, a classic porsche guy could visit while in the area? thanks a lot in advance and happy new year!

Though a bit different, Renegade Hybrids in Las Vegas is kind of fun to visit if you want to see V8s stuffed into Porsches.

I’d second the suggestion of Canepa in Scott’s Valley. The Peterson Auto Museum night also be of interest (though not exclusively Porsche related).

Now, if Jay Leno would just turn his collection into a museum.........

+1 for Canepa. They may not have a special event when you are here, but if you contact them ahead of time maybe you can get a tour.

I also suggest considering a quick stop by JWE to say hello-- about 20 minutes from Canepa.

The EASY Porsche meetup (Emeryville) on the 1st Saturday of the month is amazing for early air-cooled cars. Nothing else like it in the bay area

And ya, Canepa is a must. There were five 959 in the shop when I was there in March.
