Shop Recommendation L.A. Area– TLG Auto
Just had another excellent experience having my 1973 911S serviced by Tony and Marco at TLG Auto in North Hollywood.
They are extremely knowledgeable, honest, and very reasonable cosidering their experience and level of expertise. Marco went to great lengths to make sure the MFI was perfectly dialed in. A couple days after I picked the car up following service Marco phoned to make sure everything was to my satisfaction. Awesome experience. Some of the services they performed for my '73 this time around include a pedal cluster rebuild, rear suspension rebuild, and identification and correction of a fuel system irregularity that previous shops had missed. I've had the '73 for over 16 years, yet Tony and Marco are the first [master] mechanics to identify the fact that at some point in the '73's past the front fuel lines were rerouted, deleting the driver's side fender fuel overflow tank. That explained the fuel smell. The tank is back in, properly strapped down, and all fuel lines are back to the original specifications. On a prior service, among other things, they replaced the A-Arms and rebuilt the shifter. All work they've done has been extremely well done. I'm convinced the car runs better than when it rolled off the line at Zuffenhausen. Contact Info: TLG Auto Porsche Service 13222 Raymer St. North Hollywood, CA 91605 (818) 982-7610 tlgauto.com Hours 9am-5pm M-F (Saturday by Appt. Only)* *Shop hours lifted from TLG's web site P.S. I have no financial, family, or social ties to TLG or its principals. Just another completely satisfied customer.

Did you see this same thread on the Early 911S Registry?

Nice huh.....?
Heck yes there nice!
Smart, honest and and all around great people that love these cars. How many people do you know that work on these cars for a living and don't drive one. I think I would rather keep Marco from beer and broads before I would try to take his Porsche. This is not their first summer out, Tony has been doing this from the days when the cars still had a hole in the floor boards to stick your feet through for brakes ![]() I have not posted here for a very long time but this thread just said "Randy, chime in here and give some good vibes", so I am!
