Forget most states, if not all states they are illegal. Plus, very ignoring for on coming traffic, mainly because it loses its luminous lighting for vision.. NITSA has banded yellow as a front marker of any sort, if you have them and not pulled over and fined....consider yourself very lucky.
Just like red rear Euro fog lights are illegal...we do not live in Europe. With LED lighting on new cars major improvements in lighting

The yellow lenses wp935 shows are original H1 yellow lenses, 011 suffix, not a good illustration of original yellow H4 lenses. If you have clear lights mounted above the yellow ones, like hood lights, they might be legal.
