We’ve got a pandemic of sorts here with fraudulent responses to want to buy ads. The method is often the same, someone with a new Pelican account sends a private message “I know a guy who has that part, contact him on xxxxxxxx email address”.

So please be aware. I know this has been mentioned before, but there are still good members here being cheated. I received this type of response to my want to buy ad I posted yesterday.

Do you think it would help if original posters of the WTB stated distant transaction completed using PayPal only. Scammers do not like PayPal, for obvious reasons. Rob
