911 rear reflector - 74-86

This is a very nice factory reflector. No cracks or chips. The only issue is that someone ground off 2 of the studs so that it could be used on an aftermarket rear bumper assembly. These 2 removed studs do not effect the fitment at all. $300 shipped CONUS

So, I bought this part here and I asked Rennguy specifically about any cracks. I messaged/asked, "it looks like there is a crack on the right side end."

Hey pms me back "no cracks."

It IS cracked, exactly in the place where I asked if it was cracked. What do you do with people like this? I'm glad I didn't do friends and family on my PayPal.

Either he can take it back and refund or you can take it up with PayPal.

I already filed with PayPal, but why do people do things like this? A complete waste of everybody's time.

Thanks a lot, "Rennguy."

I agree, cash & carry is usually my choice, but I had been looking for this part.

Holy blown out of proportion. You messaged me 3 hours ago, I didn’t respond until now and I have 2 private messages, a PayPal claim and a bunch of comments on this post. Like I have already explained, it was already boxes and shipped when you asked about the crack. I did not notice a crack when I took the photos. Is the crack actually on the outer surface or is it something on the back side coming through? Trust me the $300 isn’t going to change my life, I’m not going to cheat you out of it. If it is actually cracked I will have it picked up and return your money.

It is cracked through the red plastic. I emailed you as you asked.

Problem solved. If anyone wants a very nice reflector with a small crack let me know. It’s currently on the west coast but will be shipped back East in the next couple days.

I'll pay $100 for it and pick it up in San Clemente. Sounds like a good excuse for drive through Ortega Hwy...

$200 is the lowest I will go, if not it’s headed back to the shop and we will use it on one of our cars.

How about we just drink beer, in our lawn chairs, and talk about Porches, via zoom, and forget about messing around with a broken reflector?

Sounds like more fun to me and I'm already half way there.
