Wanted: Idle Air Control Valve 84 911 carrera 3.2
Hello, lately my idle has been wonky on my 84 911 3.2 Carrera. The idle has been pulsing/surging. Im assuming the IAC valve is the culprit. Looking for a new/used one. Thanks

I wouldn’t just assume this is the culprit. There are a ton of things that can cause this. I would bench test yours first, before buying a new one. Also honestly these are dead simple devices. I would look at the eBay Chinese ones for like 40 bucks and pull the trigger all day long.

Thanks for the response. I've already had the right side intake gasket replaced because it was torn. That's what makes me believe it's the IAC.

Idle adjustment screw o ring
I had same issue on my 86 3.2 engine. Pull up to the stop sign and car would be fine then the idle would increase a bit then stabalize. Wasn't consistant and then got worse. Then I noticed a whistle on acceleration. Sounded cool but I had an air leak. Searching the forum I came across a similiar situation with another Pelican. Air was sucking thru the o ring on the idle adjustment screw. I backed it out cleaned and lube with dilectric grease and reset idle speed. Voila the car performs perfect and no more embarassing hunting idle. Goodluck. Thanks Rob.
