Freshly Refurbished Set of Fuchs 16x6/7

These Fuchs are the originals off of my '78 SC. 911 offsets, PM for pictures of date codes if desired.

Centers and center caps sprayed in gloss black. Rims have a couple very minor tool marks from over the years but otherwise have absolutely no curb rash or damage.

This set are all date matched "77. The 6s are 12/77 and the 7s are 11/77.

I will not be breaking up the set.

Selling to fund a set of something else

Why? Why would someone balance the wheels with weights on the outside. Other than that, they look like a steal. If you had these for sale last month, I would have bought them 100%

But they can be removed and adhesive remover will clean them up mint

Could be because that's where weight is needed (per the balancing machine) to dynamically balance it correctly. Moving it from the front to the backside would be a compromise for appearance. If so, that's not the most accurate location (not usually an issue at highway speeds).

Orrr...It could be because the previous owner had purchased the last set of tires that were mounted/balanced on these rims...at Town Fair Tire in 2003...

The indy shop I use is owned by a Ex Porsche tech Fuchs came from the dealer with weight on outside often.
Great if you can get wheels to zero out with just on the back but I even think the factory put weights on outside as well as inside.
