WTB 2.2, 2.4, 2.7 Engine

Hey everyone, long story short I blew up the 616 motor I had in my 912 for the 5th time in the last 3 years. Don’t know if the block is cursed or what. But I’ve decided to stop spending Porsche money only to get VW performance.

I’m looking for a running or was-running-when-removed-but-has-been-sitting-for-8-years motor that needs a little refresh and can go right into my car.

Please let me know if you have anything in this condition. Not really interested in cores, just used motors that got tossed aside in favor of everyone’s 3.0-3.2 swaps.

Photo of my car for reference.

I have freshly built ‘72 2.4S with MFI in the tune of $45K if that is in your budget.

That sounds interesting, would you PM me with details. What was it set up to fun in terms of fuel delivery?

Hahah thanks for reaching out. Not really in the budget for me (I’m just a poor 912 peasant)
