Fuchs 8 x 17 and 9 x 17 Brand New
Bought these to put on my '78 SC but they don't fit. Literally mounted once and removed, never seen the road. Completely brand new.
Maxilite 8 x 17 ET+10.6 RSR style Maxilite 9 x 17 ET+15 RSR style Paid $2,400, asking $1,600. The tires, also brand new, are $600, so $2,400 for everything plus shipping. Currently located at Rennwerke Porsche in NY. Tires can be included at extra cost. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Can I ask why they don't fit? According to the Charts, They should.

I'm kind of in a tough spot. The car is at Rennwerke and I'm up in Canada, about 1,000 miles away. I ordered the wheels from Mariani Motorsport and had them delivered, and I've never seen the wheels in person. The only photos I have are what I've posted and getting Cheech to even send those was a big ask. Anyway, there's a photo showing "ET15" on the back of the wheel:

I suspect that’s a picture of the 8 ET11 on the front……. Which definitely won’t fit without flares.

They told me it was the back but you're right, the lip of the rim looks smaller. Either way it doesn't fit.

Lowered to $1,600 for the wheels or $2,400 for the wheels and tires.

Either of the wheel sets should comfortably fit the back of an SC/Carrera w/ up to a 255/40 tire have the shop measure the wheel front space and back space back space is labeled here, front space just goes to the front

The 9s will fit the rear of the car just fine at ET 15 but the 8 inch front wheels at ET 10.6 will not fit the front.

Random question:
Do those 17x8 fit on the back? If so, you could split them up. I was thinking about 17x8 on the back and 16x8 on the front on my Carrera. I wonder why they sell the ET 10.6 doesn't make a lot of sense, unless I'm missing something.

I already bought 16s to replace them as the 17 that fits on the front looks a bit wonky.
Both the 8 and 9 fit on the back I'm told. |

Perhaps if you split them you'd find two buyers, both people could use them as rears.
I have 930 discs/calipers, so I'm pretty sure the ET 15 would work, but not as sure about the ET 10.6.

8ET10.6 is a stock SC/Carrera rear fitment these are a very, very poor fit in front
9ET15 fits fine in back on these cars too w/ up to 255/40 x17 tire There are 2 different 8x16 Fuchs the above 911 rear version w/ a 911 part # and 8ET23.3 that was used on early 944s, these have a 951 part # and while they have been fitted to the front of 911s it is not a happy marriage If you want 911 front 8s you need ET25 to 30, w/ the happiest fit being ET27, to facilitate the front fit a shorter tire is preferred, 225/45 is a better fit than 225/50 because it is shorter, the closer to 8ET27 the more leeway you will have

My problem is the wheels are at a shop near NYC and I'm in Toronto. If they were in my house I could take my time and split them up, I kinda need them to go as a set.
