This is pretty cool. I am retro fitting a 964 decklid to a 76.

I've been looking for something like this for awhile now. Found a few options and they all have the same problem. The side profile looks wonky. There's too much material at the top, and the grille surround protrudes too much from the deck lid, if you can make me something that sits flush in the grille hole for an SC decklid, I would be very interested. I've attached a link to the profile and look I'm going for, but without being glued on spoiler. If you think to can fab what I'm looking for please PM me.

Buying eBay listing grille is the option for you. I dont have ducktail for SC. I have ducktail engine cover for SC.
To make one for you will be way more expensive than the ebay listing.
Good luck.

Mock-up and testing video is here. The tail is just placed on top of the wing. Once it is glued on it won't move.

So the duck tail fits over the stock 964 body part?
Maybe you could show the part itself off the car top and bottom
Thanks

Yes, it does.
Here are photos of the tail. Hope it helps to understand.

Plastic? Glass?

Injection molded? Gravity laid?

Has it been heat cycle tested for fatigue?
