It's a heavier spring than what came on the 70-71 cars, but it will bolt right up. I have used that exact setup.

When you have the trans out, check the TO fork pivot pin. They're known to pull out or break on the 70/71 trannies. If it looks good, red loctite it.

Is the PP a 225mm or 240mm. Would you please measure, the shape of the diaphragm fingers doesn’t look like 911 or 915.

Whoops, it does look like it says 240 on it, not 225.

Rgupta250 - in which it would not fit your 71. Apols for the the earlier incorrect information.
