2.7 engine & trans
parting ways with my project. all machine work done by import auto in santa barbara. have all engine parts minus cylinders and pistons which are at EBS. don't have the $$$ to finish them.
taking best offers. will sell as a package deal. 74 915 trans complete rebuild kit from EBS. paid over $750. includes everything. also improved #8 bearing 76 2.7 parts case, cleaned inspected heads rebuilt (set)(cost $600) cams with sc carrera grind (new from webcam) (cost$690) oil pump (sold) crank (sold) rods (sold) cam towers (cleaned and inspected) sheetmetal blower motor cis injection system chain covers flywheel, cleaned & polished 76 heat exchangers and muffler in ok cond. i'm interested in the cams.
I've never heard of the "sc carrera" grind. what are the duration and lift specs?

web cam informed me that for a 2.7 cis engine this is the best all around grind. grind #158
911sc/ carrera specs intake exhaust valve lash .004 .004 valve lift .450 .400 duration 250 .240 duration @.050 232 222 lobe center 112 113 i checked the invoice again. i paid $670. will sell for $600. sdm |
