I put a WTB post up for a seemingly low year fitment aftermarket part. This was for an aftermarket shifter assy for a G-50 car that will only fit from 87-89. I was contacted within 24 hrs by 959swede ( Hans), who said he had just the part I was seeking.
He sure did!! I am in GA, USA, and Hans is in Sweden. Part was paid for, and within 7 to 10 days, the part arrived just as described, well packaged, and in perfect condition. Hans sent me the tracking #, and communicated with me throughout the whole deal.

Have all nailed it regarding Scammers and bad Sellers and bad Buyers. The mechanics of the Audiomart sites are so good that e-transfer is the normal payment method. At the core of it is a voluntary feedback system.

I suggest the Pelican folks take a look at the Audiomart sites. It could definitely be incorporated into the classified section for this site. From what I gather scamming is now rampant on the Pelican site. I am definitely more cautious now after today and will definitely entertain other Porsche part sites because of the scammers. It’s too bad.

I am sure many on here are familiar with the US and Canuck Audiomart sites so if you are post your thoughts.
