A beautiful 0231-159-008 just sold on Ebay for $280. I was out-bid in the final 10 seconds.

If you can't sell it otherwise, please consider letting it go for $300 plus shipping to me.

Thanks, Scott

Scott, '008' is the distributor for a 'T' - worth considerably less than the 'S' version!

Andy, Why is that?

They are interchangable....just have the advance recurved, right?

Our host sells the "S" 007 distributor $36 cheaper than the 008 "T".

Perhaps there are considerably less number of used 007's than 008's based on number of "T" cars sold. I'm not sure that makes the 008 worth considerably less as all the Marelli victims are now searching for the 008's.

I am also on the prowl for a replacement for my Marelli. I agree with Andy - somewhere in the $250 - $350 range. If anyone finds one, please let me know.

Pelican had a new Bosch '71 "S" distributor (0-231-159-007) at a very good price ($425). A previous customer used it on his 911 T with good results. I'll let everyone know how it turns out.
