WTB: Underdash Knee Pads
 

I need underdash knee pads for a 73 S. I have the AC unit that is put in place of the knee pads and I would like to remove the AC unit.

Anyone have any? Any sources?

I have a set of knee pads that I just bought on this board. They are in really good shape overall,but the drivers side knee pad has a tear in it. The tear is directly under the steering wheel and is mostly hidden. I would be interested in trading if you wan't to get rid of the A/c unit.

Tear is about 2 inches long.

Thanks for the reply. i might have someone else ahead of you for the AC fascia (not definite, though). How much would you sell your pads for without the trade?

PS- all I have of the AC system is the fascia-none of the guts

Actually I'm only interested in the vents, I have everything else. I've been compiling parts slowly. I thought a trade would be great since I want to go to A/C. Can you send me pics of the fascia. I really would prefer to trade if your other party bows out. Let me know, Sam

Let me get some pics taken for you and I will send them off. Does most of the cut really get hidden by the wheel?

Yeah, the cut sits just below the clam shell. If you look for it you can see it. But its in a pretty good hiding spot. Also upon closer inspection I noticed a couple little cracks in the vinyl to the left of the tear. They are really small I couldn't get them to show up in a pic. But I thought you should know that they are there. Thanks, Sam

I've got one from a SWB car (one piece) if you want to do an ash tray delete.

Would prefer not to do that, but might consider it. Do you have any pics? How much are you looking for?
