WTB: Complete or part of '78-'79 intake system.

Complete or just the Airbox/Fuel Distributor with lines.
Also wanted: Ignition Distributor and WUR.
All for US, not Euro. :)
Thank you. aquastar@netidea.com

Thanks for the pix. I don't need the fan.
I have a complete US early SC system and would like a FD/airbox, and WUR,
as spare.
However, if someone doesn't want to break up the system, I have to buy it
complete.
If you have 3 systems from a '78-'79, are they all complete?
Which is the cleanest?
The one in the picture is pretty dirty.
Hoping to find something clean from a running engine to ensure that the FD is working.
Yes, the numbers on the FD and WUR are needed for comparison.
I have a concern about your E-mail coming to me identified as spam.
Can you make some adjustments, i.e., send regular E-mail? aquastar@netidea.com SmileWavy

Gunter

Cliff - out of curiosity, how much are you asking for a complete early CIS system?

Thanks.

I'll send you an email so as to not hijack Gunter's thread.

Thanks Cliff; I always like people who think nothing of stealing someones thread.

Cliff: Sent you an E-mail a while ago asking for numbers.
WUR 0 438 xxx xxx
FD 0 438 xxx xxx
I need to be sure that they are from a '78-'79 system.
What are the Bosch numbers on the FD and WUR?

Gunter 09-25-2005 08:19 AM

Hmmmm. No answer is also an answer.
Still looking for a complete CIS from a '78-'79 US.
The FD and WUR has to be original; the Bosch numbers have to match.

Gunter, I have what appears to be a '78/79 CIS system (although it's sitting on a 2.7) I have the runners, WUR & airbox, but not the fuel distributor. I suspect the FD is the most important part of what you need?

Gunter 09-26-2005 05:52 AM

Yes, it is.

jpnovak 09-26-2005 06:06 AM

I have a complete 78 US system. I was going to save it but will never use it. the airbox is not split but the pop-off valve was removed for another system. It came off the donor motor I bought for a 3.2SS project. I will have EFI or carbs so I don't need it.

$350 shipped? I will get you FD and runner part numbers tonight.

Gunter 09-27-2005 07:47 AM

Why do people not want to supply the numbers to ensure that the FD, and WUR, is in fact from '78-'79????
Still looking.
