WTB - trombone cooler
I'm looking for a trombone oil cooler (the one that goes in the front, right wheel well) in decent shape.

I may still have one, I'll try to find it this wekend. With respect, the trombone may not be the way to go with a 3.5 since it does little for cooling and mostly reroutes the oil back to the tank. I woud use the 28 row brass cooler. Not too dependent on air circulation, and was good enough for the factory to use it on the turbos. Tough as nails compared to the radiator type for road debris.

Thanks for looking for that Rick. I actually already have a Carrera cooler setup, but I plan to transfer it to a coupe (pre-smog year) where I now plan to use the 3.5 and need something to leave in place on the targa with the 2.7.
If you can find it, how much would you want for it? I have no idea what these things go for. |

Not sure if I still have it but it is free if I do. Just pay shipping. I have seen these go from 25 to 100.

rick2 - you have some good kharma coming your way! I received my trombone free from a member on this board and decided not to use it. I passed it on for free as well. Then another member gave me a 28 brass style - awesome members here! BTW, when they're not free you can find them for $25.
