Is there such a thing,if there is I need a set.
Well, what I'm looking for is a flushmount headlight kit for a slant nose 911. Is there such a kit?? If there is and someone knows anything ablout it please direct me.....thanks, rio
here is the car it will be going on..... http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1150942572.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1150942613.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1150942657.jpg It is just about ready to head to the body shop for some minor bodywork and paint. So please let me know ASAP or any other ideas for the headlight section. I really do not like the pop ups. The light on the front bumper are completely fucntional as headlight with low and high beams at this time. thanks again. |
Oh yeah I'am also in the market for a rear bumper to replace the one I currently have on the car....I really like the one with the slots, like the one Better Bodies has.....

just have the shop fill the headlight opening with metal....should be an easy fix for just about any body man....the contours are fairly mild. you could use the original headlamp doors and just mig or tig the gap and metal finish it...if you want to save the original door just use some metal that I am sure the shop will have laying around in the scap pile from a trunk lid...door skin...hood...or roof....you can always cut out the modification at a later date to go back to original if you want.

Thanks for your input....I actually thought of that also but the light on the bumper are just too low to comply with state law so I really need to figure something out....thanks, rio

Sporthaus in reno used to make a flush mount kit for the 944 gts. while the headlamp covers are not usable, the rectangular bases to support cibie h-4 lamps could work for you. if john no longer makes them, then you are on your own finding a fabricator to make a support for the lamps. We can get the clear lenses made for you from an aircraft window mfg.
