CATALYST setup.......custom made FS for 930
 

We fabbed it for use to pass emissions - used for about 35 minutes. Sounds EXACTLY like the bullet/cherry bomb style muffler I have on the 930 right now.

I am interested in your cat setup. Is this just for the visual inspection or does it really reduce emissions? Please advise.

We made it to reduce emissions - the 930 would not have passed if the catalyst was not in place. It passed 3X cleaner than the allowed level !

Brand new catalyst
Turbo mounting flange ($$)
Mounts directly to turbo and exits out right hand side - looks great

What is the diameter of the Cat piping? 2.5" or 3"

3" all the way through -

hmm - too large for my purposes- looking to carve out the cat and use it on a test-pipe thereby creating my own sport-cat set-up for my 3.2l NA 911.

Just do a search for the catalyst pictured above - certainly they come in different sizes.
