headers

I'm looking for a set for a 3.2 conversion would this work on a 3.2? the car is a street car . Can I add a muffler if I want to?

Please let me know

Fred

Yes, these headers would work with your car. They are 1.5 inch diameter inlets, so the low end torque would be good but you would run out of air at the top if you are building a 3.2 hot rod. If you're staying stock DME, you would be fine. You can add a cat and muffler to them if needed. Smog laws vary by state.

The other thing to consider with headers is that you will loose your Heat Exchangers and the use of your heater.

Let me know.

Thanks,

Sorry to but in. Fred do your research, if I remember right 1.5" is too small for a 3.2 I believe you need 1.75". A good way to know is to call Euro Headers they'll tell you.

Hi Guys,

I've got an update:

1. Fred (If they are good for his application)

2. Zoanas (Rik) If Fred cannot use them.

Armando,

No problem butting in. In fact, I do not want to sell something to someone that doesn't work.

Fred,

You may want to speak with other's on Pelican or your mechanic. I'm going off a book I have on 911 motors and exhaust sizes. But in real world applications, I haven't done one of these yet. I've only had experience with 2.7's and 3.6's.

Let us know what you would like to do. If you pass, Rik is next up.

We will wait for your answer.

Thanks and Best Regards,

Bill Pickering
