3.0L SC engine runs perfect FS
I am about to part out a 1977 targa with a perfect 3.0 from a 1980 SC. The engine has about 105000 on it and was dismantled in mid 90s for stud repair and carrera tensioners . Has pop off and newer alternator and clutch. In car and still running. Also have 915 that was probably rebuilt (can,t confirm) as it shifts up and down into all gears without grinding. Shipping from Port Huron Mi.48060 johnsjmc@sympatico.ca 519 768 3133 I am asking $4500 for engine with CIS& exhaust ,less with a trade in core. Open to offers as a search only found one similar engine for 5500 ask.
I have everything in and running now.I have everything available for a swap into an earlier car if that is what ends up happening.

Dismantled in mid 90's?
What P/C's were found? Mahle? KS? Where all studs replaced? Steel or Dilavar? Re-ringed? Complete '80 CIS with Lambda brain? CDI Bosch 6-pin module?

I believe cyl are alusil. and studs are newer dilivar.Not reringed. Cis fuel distributer was changed to a diff part# years ago when installed in 1977 without brain. 6 pin cd available. In car and running now .
