WTB Bolt-in rollbar........
Looking for bolt-in rollbar to fit in my 1984 911 Coupe. Local to New Jersey would be best as I'm sure shipping would be expensive.

Ed,
I have a DAS-Sport rollbar with harness loops I may consider selling. It bolts in where the seatbelt bolts are in the longitudinal/rocker area and where the rear seatbacks bolt into the body. I would want $450 plus shipping for it.

What model # is your DAS rollbar. I'm very interested in weekender model 059117489SR00 that will fit sunroof coupe. If that's it can you get idea of shipping costs. Thanks Micheal

Ed, it is the weekender roll bar with the removable crossbar. I'll get some pics and try to get you an idea of what shipping costs would run in the next couple days. Thanks!

Does your coupe have a sunroof? May make a difference as they have different models for non-sunroof coupes. Also do you have all the hardware including 4 aluminum spacer bars? Those little babies are expensive (100.00) to replace.

Ed,
I believe it's for a sunroof model, I had it in my '75 sunroof coupe for a little while. It's a snug fit but it works. I don't have the aluminum spacers, but I didn't have a problem fitting the bar without them.

Still looking for LOCAL cage for 1984 911 with sunroof. Now can be bolt-in or weld-in but must be within 200 mile driving range. I appreciate efforts by sellers to get shipping cost estimates but it just adds too much to total to be worth while.

Hey Ed,
I'm considering a bar too. Have you talked to Stable Energies about an Autopower bar? The shop is in Garfield, NJ and the Autopower bars aren't that expensive. Just a thought. That may be the route I take. PV

Scott, I got your PM Thanks. I just figured that shipping costs from MI would be too much.
Porsche virgin, I'm a regular at Stable Energies, great people to deal with. Their web site shows autopower cage is around $795.00 + installation. That is too much for me right now. looking used in the $400.00 range + installation. Thanks and good luck with yours. |

Thanks for the info, Ed. I'm probably going to start with just a roll bar anyway.
Good luck in your hunt.

Harness bar? I've already got a Brey-Krause. Thanks, though.
