WTB: Ball Joint Socket

I started installing my new turbo tie rods tonight and spotted both ball joint boots/seals torn. So looks like I need to buy more stuff. I was hoping to save a few $ by picking up a used ball joint socket. Someone might have one rolling around their toolbox I could buy, borrow, rent. I hope this request isn't out of line just thought I might ask. I am also looking for a new wallet as mine has failed at the hinge. To many openings and closings. All started when I brought my baby home about 8 months ago (1994 Carrera targa). Just kidding about the wallet. Lots of catch up maintenance work, kinda dwindling my $$.
Anyway, an unexpected $140.00+ for joints and a new one time use socket wasn't in the plan. I'm tring to save for a Wevo damn it.
