I found a new company called "Specialized ECU Repair" out of Pompano Beach, Florida. They will test, evaulate and rebuild the Motronic ECU for $250, offering next-day turnaround and a 3-year warranty. Because my car is a European model, I decided to give them a try since I won't have to worry about finding a European-tuned EPROM chip for whatever replacement box I might have bought. Plus, they are cheap and quick.

I'll keep you guys posted on how their service is and how the box turns out, but the guy I'm talking to is named Jose and he can be reached at (305) 989 0724. He seems like a super guy so far.
