flatsixkicks???
Last month, I saw an item on ebay listed by flatsixkicks. I sent him a question, he responded (one word response) and then a friend directed me to this link. I passed on the item then today I get this message from ebay:
Our records show that you recently received an email from flatsixkicks through the Ask Seller a Question or Contact eBay Member features. This email may be fraudulent and an attempt to do one of the following: - Obtain your eBay password - Gain access to your eBay account - Use your eBay account for fraudulent activity - Set up an outside-of-eBay transaction which may be fraudulent This kind of email is often called a "phish" or "phishing attempt," and the people who send them are known as "phishers." Phishers use these methods to try to get your personal information, such as user names, passwords and credit card details. Because the emails may sometimes come through the eBay system, the phisher may seem to be trustworthy and have a good reason to contact you. The message goes on but this is the first time I've gotten anything like this. Just wanted to keep the word out about this guy..... |

HI,
I know first hand about this seller. I bought something from him a few years ago. There was a great deal of delay in getting my part (which I eventually did get). It seemed like Geoff blammed cmlfrazier for the delays. I am pretty sure that they are one in the same or cmlfrazier does not mind having his name slanderized by his roomate!! I also wonder where these parts come from. Are they legit? It seems like they sell parts that they may not have but go looking for if someone is willing to buy them!!! Something sounds fishy here. Maybe the local authorities should be asked to check them out?? If they are clean, they won't mind the scrutiny and may clear up their name and their "business". Until that is done, I would be very careful here. Good Luck! Tim |

I have a friend that just bought something from him. When he told me it was someone in Raleigh, I asked if it was FlatSixKicks. He lives in that area and planned to go pick it up directly so it might be OK. I've asked him to let me know of his experience.
Update: Just got a response back from my friend. He got a message from Ebay, indicating that he was no longer a registered user. Either he has gotten booted, or he will reappear as a new name.

He's been booted numerous times and keeps resurfacing with a new name and somehow has hundreds of "positive" customer feedback. In one of his previous incarnations I had trouble with a purchase from him too. Why don't some people just go away.

I guess I lucked out. I won those aero mirrors he listed last week and they just arrived. The seller's handle was, in fact, flatsixkicks but the packaging had an old UPS label addressed to Geoff ******** of NC. I've been holding my breath ever since I saw this post the other day.
Sorry not everyone had the same experience. I'll be sure to check this board before I think about bidding, again. ![]()

If you look at the car for sale '96 C2 ad from Discovery2 and follow the link, it's for an auction by re-porsche.
Discovery2 has made a number of posts, but this particular one is promoting an auction run under one of ********'s eBay IDs. Not sure what other explanations there could be...

public enemy #1 ??
google turned up this image from his Facebook account, at least i'm pretty sure it's his...
in addition there were several other items indicating that he'd been banned (Samba) or people were aware of him & his dealings (Bring a Trailer, Dorkiphus, etc) |

wooooooo.
I was just made aware of this thread. I am NOT!!! Geoff. He is local to my area and I have bought some parts from him. If anyone would like me to PM them a scan of my drivers license I would be more than happy to. I knew Geoff in college but am in no way afilliated with him now. The contact info above looks correct if anyone needs to get in touch with him, thatd the phone number I have as well. |

When I talked to Chris [discovery2] on the phone the readout said Watticker. My feeling is that Chris is trying to do good business [100% positive feedback for Re-Porsche[Chris] on ebay]. He could have a good explanation or maybe none.
