FS: Front and Rear 964 Turbo (965) Calipers

Selling a set of 964 Turbo Calipers from a 1991. Approximately 68k miles on them when taken off. Paint is pealing on all the rotors and one of the fronts looks like the rubber boot was pinched during a shoddy brake job and should be replaced. I'm throwing in a pair of rear rotors that have some life left in them (no cracking at the holes). Also including an old set of Pagid pads with a few miles left on them. These would work as a back up set in an emergency.

$600 plus shipping (from 98033)

Up for sale again....some confusion in my terms.

The deal is $600 not including shipping (buyer pays shipping).

Thanks,
Jeff

the 964 3.3t front caliper uses the same pad as a 993 f or 928S4 front

the calipers are used w/ 322x32mm rotors unlike the 993 or 928 which use 304x32. To be used on the bigger rotor they have raised mounting bosses. maybe Jeff can post a better pic of the caliper mounting faces.

The rears use the smaller 930 size pad but are very desireable for use on the back of a 911 w/ 930 rotors, they are designed w/ 28mm rotors in mind

Bill -
Is the 928S4 (GTS?) caliper the same as the 993 f (or the 944 turbo S)? I did not see the 928 caliper on your website write-up and was curious.
I had a pair of front 928S4 on 304x22 and have upgraded to the 3.3 turbo caliper in order to run the larger rotor.

Free bump??

Dave

The 928S4 and 993 front clipers are the same except one is set up for leading mount and the other for trailing. Swap the bleeds and feeds and they are interchangeable. They booth use 304x32 natively but can be used w/ 322x32.

the 3.3t front caliper here is also the same caliper, set up for leading mount but these have raised mounting bosses for use w/ 322x32 rotors

the 928 GTS and 993tt/RS front calipers have a similar relation ship, leading/trailing is one difference and color is the other difference. They also need the 322x32 rotors

Bill,
I think the 3.6 is a larger rotor then the 3.3 964 turbo.. talking the fronts rear are the same.
I know the 3.6 is like $100 dollars cheaper then the 91-92 3.3. front rotor

They(3.3t, 3.6t and RS) have different part #s but are all the same size 322x32. The 3.3t and RS use the same rotors 3.6t is the same size and o/s but different part # I don't know what the difference is

On 993 the RS and tt use the same size and o/s but w/ different parts #s. Here I do know the difference. RS are 1 piece tt are 2 piece w/ a separable hat. The tt are also much lighter cheaper, so thats what I buy. They are also 322x32 but have a different o/s from 965 or 964RS

Wow! Great set of brakes. Do you know if they will bolt on to my 914 struts? 3" bolts centers I think.

That otta slow 'er down quick... Now if I can just figure out how to get 'er up to speed. :-)

No help on fitment from my end. I remember seeing that the carrera brakes are a good option for the 914's. These might be a bit over kill I think...

For those folks still interested....I'm going to estimate shipping at $75 (that includes the rotors). If it's more then I'll pick up the costs...if it's less then I'll charge accordingly.

Thanks,
Jeff
