FS - Autothority MAS plus Steve Wong Custom Chip for 3.2

I am selling an Autothority MAS for a 3.2 (84-89) with original Autothority chip (24 pin) and a customized chip by 911 Chips (Steve Wong) for the Autothority MAS. I would like to get $700 for the MAS with the original chip (which includes a fairly new K&N filter - less than 500 miles) and $250 for Steve Wong's 911chips designed for the Autothority.

Please feel free to PM or email me at darrellsalinas at hotmail dot com.

For a package deal that would include the B&B HE plus muffler and Authority MAS with original chip plus Steve Wong's custom chip, please make me an offer.

Curios why you are selling it. I've had one on my 1987 since around 1992 and no problems other than a %90 potentiometer. Thanks

I agree and I really like my Autothority MAS. I have always preferred it to stock flapper door AFM. I am selling it because I am installing a turbo setup on my 3.2 with the Protomotive software which requires the flapper door AFM. So instead of leaving it on the shelf I thought someone else could benefit from it.

Thanks,
Darrell

Sale pending.

I'd be interested in the Steve Wong chip for my '88 Carrera. I have the Autothority MAF with Autothority chip and a B&B exhaust. I understand the SW custom chip in this application makes better performance. Is this the setup you currently have?

Thanks.

Thanks Ed,
That is exactly the setup I had. Right now someone has committed to purchasing both the Authority MAF with original chip and plus the SW chip for the Autothority MAF. I will keep you posted if this deal falls through.

Thanks,
Darrell

Darrell, for what's it worth regarding SW versus the stock chip, the last time I dyno'd the engine (at Sam Shalala's ProTechnic shop in Houston) I asked if I should get my setup re-chipped replacing the Autothority chip. His response after looking at the charts was I could get much more out with a new chip. So if the buyer is not going to use headers my experience was the Autothority chip works fine. But when I do upgrade the headers I will call Steve Wong for a new chip.

Thank Tom,
I think the Autothority Chip works perfectly fine, but for those of us who want to get every HP out our cars, Steve Wong chip is the way to go.

Buyer did NOT pay and therefore it is still for sale.

I have PMed interested parties and I will sell the SW chip seperately.

Thanks,
Darrell
