FS: Clean IROC 11" RSR FG front end for 930

You know I will be happy if I get a fair price for this but want to ship to CA if possible. I am asking $400 including shipping to CONTUS. PLEASE NOTE: This is for 11" fender flares front, NOT 9" as I was lead to believe. I need to sell or trade this for that size. I am willing to ship, and have a very good container for safe shipment. GreyHound cost $86 from Dayton, OH > Roseville CA. That should be about what it costs to get it anywhere. It also shipped in 7 days. Not bad. (Before you ask: Oil Cooler is NOT included)

VERY IMPORTANT: THE DIMENSION FROM FENDER TO FENDER (WIDEST POINT) is 69.875" exactly.
How to measure your fenders: grab anything that is heavy, can be tied to a string and has a point on it... then tie a length about two feet of string on to it. Next hold the end of the string with the 'pointed thing' hanging near the ground. Hold it at the tip or edge of your fender, then mark on the floor exactly where that is pointing. Repeat on the other front fender, then measure that distance on the ground (between the two points you marked) and you'll know exactly what dimension your fender are. Cheers! EXAMPLE: My fenders measure 65.5" precisely. They are noted as 9" fenders. 11" fenders should measure in at about 4" past that... 69.5" or there abouts.<table border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" width="100%" id="table4">

Did that work?

I just received it, and the 'black gelcoat' is pretty much in MINT condition. No cracks, no issues. it's just to wide for my car.

My car has 9" front turbo flares. These photos show that the bodywork is designed to match up to 11" flares:

You have a lot of complex contours to deal with if you want to make that fit. I'd suggest you spend the time finding a part that fits correctly straight out of the box.

You're right...

I will not attempt to make that fit. I have to buy the right one, which I may do today. Is there a company that you recommend?

I have heard of GT-racing.com, (Hank)
and
Rennspd.com (nice because they are in CA) it might ship for less.

Do you have any favorites for this front part?

Call Dave @ TRE Motorsports (TRE Cup). I'm confident he'll be able to get you the best deal.

Do you have a Web URL (address?) or contact info?

opticalfuel 09-12-2008 08:50 AM

Here is what I need... right on their site:

I have it now...nevermind about the info.

I talked with TRE... they seem to have what I need. I'll update you when I know more.

I don't know where Roseville is, but if it's close to San Diego I've had good luck with these folks.....
