FWIW, I was successful in recovering a set of RS door panels (black vinyl) to eliminate the speaker holes. I have quite a bit of vinyl left over if you're interested.

I had a hard time finding vinyl that was just right (I'm picky) local to me, but if you have a source then I'm sure it's cheaper than shipping. PM me if you're interested.
