If I read their ad correctly, Eurometrix wants $14,500 for their High Butterfly Valve throttle bodies.

HI jcc911

|
Are you going to sell them??If so,please ket me know your price!!
Thanks!! |
I was thinking about selling them, but have not determined a price yet.
Will post pics and price when i figure it out. |
Hey,
Just stumbled on this post. We do have more of these available as per Mike's response. These are new aftermarket made in europe and are no where near $14,500 a set, less than half that. If anyone has interest let me know! A Real Deal Factory set up does have value and Eurometrix is about the only one with NOS parts so they can be used as a gauge for yours when you're ready to sell.:D Thanks, Don |
High Throttle valves
Man..those are stunning.
Don: email sent. |
Don, what do your set-ups go for? Any info would certainly help, thanks!
|
We sell the set up in the pics for about $6000. There are some variables in pricing but this is average. Just let me know if you have any further questions!:)
Thanks, Don |
Hi Don,
What are the specs on these? Port sizes, butterfly sizes, etc. These look very nice. John |
MY MY... those give me wood
|
Thanks Don, so it looks like I am somewhere betwen $14.5K and $6K. Looks like it will require a special buyer who is looking specifically for the factory ones.
Thanks Again |
Hi Butterfly
About 7 years ago I bought a set of stacks, throttles etc never assembled paid 5000.00 it needed the bearing mounts and the cross rod fabricated. But it was new, I wonder if that is the same set ?

Can certainly vouch for the Eurometrix set, beautifully put together with original parts apart from the cross shaft carrier housings, although I'm glad I got them last year before Matt put the price up and the exchange rate crashed! Matt offered re-manufactured rampipes/trumpets, but went with his original set, he said the difference is the new ones have a flame retardant in them, the originals will melt if they catch fire..........the engine builder says his engines don't catch fire, lets hope so

You may want to post over on the Early S Registry forum. I recall seeing these worth in the $25K range. Don, truly beautiful work at an affordable price. I'll be contacting you in 2010 when I build up a 68 Al case into a 2.5SS. |
Yes I do have the original factory set up as the Porsche part # is stamped in them.
Thanks for the reccomendation, do you have a link? |
