Front AC Condenser Fan - Electrical Hookup

My front AC condenser fan that mounts into the trunk does not operate when the AC is turned on in my 1973.5T. I cannot tell if the fan works off the fan compressor/cabin fan switch or through the relay in the smugglers box. Anyways, no power to the fan!

Does anyone know where the condenser fan picks up the power?

I have considered running the fan directly off the battery via a fused link and a simple on/off toggle switch in the cockpit. This way I can turn the fan on while stopped to provide air flow over the condenser. A Rube Goldberg setup, primitive but effective.

Any ideas?

Thanks
Bob
