Wtb cis box
Got some bad news from my Porsche Tech today....finally broke down after 8 weeks of trying to figure out why my 911 would not idle and run rough at low speed.....doing many things and some helped some didn't change a thing...took it in to have a pro look at it...came back and told me my air box is broken around some screws somewhere and need a new air box...quoted me about a $1000 parts and labor to do it.....he also told me the 73.5 box is all by itself and "might" be able reto fit to a 74 box with fabricating runner boots to fit the new box....first off does any one have a 73.5 cis air box they would like to sell and any one with experience know what I am up against to try and do it myself? or am I better off paying him the $700 labor...thanks to all for any help you can give me,.,.....sad day for me,,,,,wife is going to kick me out if I spend a grand on what she calls my toy....
