FS: 11 Blade Fan, Alternator and Housing
I have an 11 blade fan assembly for an early car available. Includes fan, SEV Marchal alternator and housing.
The assembly is in nice shape with only one very small ding on one fan blade. Looking for $360 shipped Regards, Andrew M ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

This one is off an early pre 73 car - I think the 930 ones were more reinforced.
Thanks Andrew M

Andrew
I'm actually only looking for a blade... did find the following from a Google search (from our BBS question). ... I'm not the ultimate authority on this by any means, but I just went through it myself and this is what I've come to understand. The early 245 mm fan will fit the later model housing, but will require the early style pulley half (which is substantially less expensive than the later model pulley half). The early housing will only work with an early alternator due to the shorter length of the lower output unit. The mounting base can be machined down to approx. 3/4" to allow use with the later model alternator. I would look for an early style 245mm 11 blade fan and buy the matching pulley half from our host (approx $20) and use it with the later style housing and alternator. Mike... So I'm out for now, but I was on another thread a few weeks ago and 3 of us want it the 3 different parts (Blade, Housing and Alternator), so keep me in mind if you part it. Since this is NLA on PP, you should have offers soon. Cheers J.J.

Hey Andrew
You never got back to me about the climate contron panel (CCU). Do you have it, or not? BTW I may be interested in your fan/alternator. |

Hi Jerz - sorry, I talked to Jim last week and sorted out that you needed the CCU not the ECU
![]() I just pulled the CCU over the long weekend - it works fine, but there is one button that is loose. PM me your e-mail address and I'll get a couple pictures out to you Thanks Andrew M

The whole setup is still available, but I should have a couple individual alternators as well - let me know which one you need
Thanks Andrew M

Andrew, if I can use this set up on my 3.2 without too many alterations, I would be very interested. It's a track only car with very little in the way of electrical draw. I also understand that the early housings are stronger than the later units. My housing is cracked and magnesium is awfully hard to weld.

Hi Deadeye - the alternator on these early cars ahd an external voltage regulator - I'm not sure what wiring changes you would have to make to get this setup to work.
I do have a 3.2 housing with a chip out of the top that would work for a track car - it was in a street enginethat came out for a 3.6 transplant, but has sat on my shelf because of the chip out of the edge - I'll post a picture today for you - it would be $60 shipped Regards, Andrew M
