it looks like it screws on, but 911 shift levers don't have threads.

How early? Any idea when they changed? My '74 is a sleeve.

Yes indeed will fit 356 and 911/912 thru '67. The threads disappeared in '68.
Could be Stuttoart, I really don't know. I do know it is really nice and will compliment any early car's interior.
