keep in mind that the windshield alone goes for $9-10K...if you can find one. The rest of the parts are not impossible to find, but good luck on the windscreen.

We checked with Posche they have it listed for $4,500 with frame and tint.
A complete kit was priced at $35k |

This must be new to Porsche. We looked several years ago and it was NLA, the only pieces you could find on the market, were from wrecked cars, hence the rarity, and the $10k price tag. If porsche is again producing these at the $4500 price tag, I would jump on it!

My friend is going to make the call for the Glass....Maybe Porsche decided to make them again due to the popularity of the New speedster ?
I'm going to have my friend Contact LAPD direct (hopefully they are willing to break it up) Their prices seem to be the most fair on speedster kits.... I highly doubt any other dismantlers in the states would carry Speedster parts (someone correct me if im wrong) I managed to locate quite a few items since I started this post! but still not enough for a full kit Even contacted Mr Bob Anziano (really nice guy on the phone) will see what turns up.... Its funny when you want this stuff you can't find it.... When you don't want it, it's all over the place. Kinda like when you have something for sale for months on end....no one cares or wants it until the second you sell it.... must be something in the air |

Even contacted Mr Bob Anziano (really nice guy on the phone) Todd bought all his leftover parts.
Its funny when you want this stuff you can't find it.... When you don't want it, it's all over the place. Not really I have all of it but am saving it for some unknown project. Todd's price on the package is worth it. So what if you need a new top skin and the glass is just ok. The hassle of sourcing it from fifteen different sellers isn't worth it. |
