Track Car/Parts Bonanza

Trying this again. I listed this a year or so ago, started working out a interesting trade deal, but the guy disappeared. I've added to my VW collection, so I need to clear some space. I don't have the time, money, or inclination to play on the track any more.

The car is a 1977 911, originally a Targa, which I converted and drove as a cab for a few years, and ultimately developed a hard top using this car as one of the test mule. It's in great mechanical shape, but it has cosmetic 'issues'. If you go back through some of my posts on the 911 technical and racing forums you can see the build-up.

Basically it is a street-legal track car. My best time @ Thunderhill was a 2:02. Top speed approx 163 (GPS verified) It's fun to drive, but you really have to pay attention to what you're doing! This car is very light - the last time I weighed it, it was just over 1900lbs, wet.

$17k, best offer.

The spare C2 lid has the stock hinges; it hasn't yet ever been mounted on a pre-C2 car.

Still need to get rid of this; dragged home another project last weekend and I need some elbow room.

I got it started today, and it runs great, but one of the fuel lines is leaking near the tank.
