hello everyone.
i have a concept iam working on using modern laser cutter. not sure on the materials i would be using but would probably will be a opaque white acrylic plastic with black paint on raised surfaced for a negative image kinda of look. the clock would go on the bottom left in the circle here is the first trial today would anyone be interested in buying something like this if yes, or if you want something more gear towards yourself i can do a one off something please put your name in a list if you do

i would depend on materials and with or without the clock. what materials would you want. i attempted a resiatied carbon fiber weave and it failed. acylic and most woods will work. could do this in a walnut. no woods that have to much oil as the laser burns it

I'm think it would be neat if you could make it look like a 3D blueprint.

This clock WITHOUT HANDS as seen in this picture should represent as a "TIMELESS"...as a concept that PORSCHE never FADES away without having any hands on the clock???... thought it might be an ideal as a timeless piece!
Keep the clock on and leave out the hands!. It might bring a great converstation if anybody asks you "how come there are no clock hands on it" Your response would be "TIMELESS!" What do ya think? |

me and my buddy are trying to lock down the prices for materials per unit. currently maybe going for a more of a mid centry feel to it?
acylic backing with perhaps a wood veneer on top also, can everyone start a list and put your user name kinda like a group buy thing. we are needing to figure out how many to produce

So you plan to use acrylic backing with a wood veneer on top...like a mid-century feel to it? Just like the one you have in your picture as a sample? And what else do you have on your mind? Perhaps something like in today's materials in modern way combine with this vintage design of yours?
