I lot of inquiries, shipping is a factor as I see it. Thanks for the posting, I was thinking about doing that.

GT3 seats

Did not realize that you dont ship? U-Haul and Home Depot has storage boxed for clothing that perfectly fit the seats inside. Drop them at a Greyhound station and off you are..
Let me know if you decide to ship. I'll take them.

I am paying $75 for Recaro's FedEx Florida to Indiana .Not all that bad.Your paying size penalty, but no weight. Why not go this route as your listing price is NOT the issue, but you need to increase audience size.

I shipped a set of seats and had a set shipped to me - both were cross country and neither was very much - ~$150 IIRC (for the pair)

These do not appear to be OEM, as the slider release latch is in the center (offset to the side on OEM), and the crest seems to be pressed into the leather above where the OEM crest lies.

Please confirm.

Wow. Good eye. I just checked my OEM seats and I think you are correct.

Good catch laz74, I think you are correct. OEM seats also have recaro stamped on the back side of the seat, right?

They look like replicas... Easiest ways to tell = no embossed RECARO on the backside of the headrest & plastic grommets on the inside of the lower harness holes (oem are stitched leather).

Caveat emptor has no place on PP!

I'm not arguing either way, but I don't like the connotation of caveat emptor! Sure these are classifieds, but if something is advertised on Pelican vs. say FleaBay we hope that nothing is "hidden". The add says GT3 seats, not seats that look similar and will bolt into a GT3. If I was the buyer and they proved otherwise, I'd be less than happy.

Again, nothing against this particular sale as I wasn't in the market for these after sitting in some OEM ones, they just don't interest me. I'm not claiming real or fake.

BUT I guess I'm still living in the past where true PELICANs didn't hide things or shell game play another Pelican! Don't like the precedent or the implication here.

Luke I didn't attempt to hide anything or otherwise. I bought the seats here and I put them back on sale here because I wasn't using them.
